Great stuff, man! Just a few crits: - The pectoralis major are looking a bit foobar near the collarbone end imho. This is probably due to the overdefined are at the shoulder. - There's no apparent sterno-mastoid visible, at least it isn't defined well enough; and ...

... the manubrium. This is called the sternal head of the sternomastoid. The top of the sterno-mastoid connects to the base of the skull behind the ear. I can't tell to well from your illustration, but from what I see, it looks almost impossible for sterno mastoid in your figure to connect behind ...

... It's really just a fold in the anti-helix and should not look like it's deeper than the base of the concha. Ah!...now I see what you mean...the ear is one of the few things I can do without a reference, but of course I'm far from perfecting it....thx again, I will start a new sculpt today....adding ...

... Just one little nit-picky crit. It's is a fussy little detail, but I think it's impotant. The sternomastoid muscle comes down from behind the ear, thickens, then splits into two. One connects to the sternum and the other to the clavicle. The one that connects to the clavicle sort of flattens ...

... neck, but you should feel the underlying structure.. Basically what I did is correct the shape of the sternomastoid (red). It starts behind the ear and spirals down around the neck. At the bottom third, it splits into a two pronged fork. One is fat and one is thin. The thin sprong connects to ...

Hehe, no problem. About the latin words, just scroll back a page and read over mookie's first posts. They're a bundle of usefull information. The names will come by themselves if you do a lot of ears. If you keep naming those parts by their latin names yourself naturally. :) It's not necessary to k...

mapha, those are awesome crits and right on the money. Don't forget about Darwin's tubercle. It's very prominent in the reference and invisible in the sculpt.:)

As promised: EarScreens02_mockup.jpg Allow me to clarify. The ear as a whole is still very flat and is lacking a certain amount of weight and fat. Giving the lobule, the helix, anti-helix and darwin's turbecle a good swirl with the bulge brush would ...

Shape-wise it's looking better. But there are still a few things I'd like to point out.
But I'll clarify those with a paintover when I get the time. :)
That will make more sense then my verbal ramblings. ;)

... First off. The lobule area needs a lot more attention and love, The lobule, anti-helix and the concha are basicly the most obvious parts of the ear, and they need extra attention imho. To clearify: The lobule is too small, and it's lacking weight. A lobule is basicly a big load of fatty tissue ...

... you. note: please mind that I've 'over exagerated' (read: can't draw) some parts. I need a new wacom, this thing is too small. 2. Ear --------------------------- * General shape The ear needs a lot more work, the shape of the helix is very pronounced, and I'm not seeing it here. ...

... I think if you would define the maxilla/zygomatic bones and their muscles a bit more (just a bit), this would do the trick just nicely imho. - The ear is kind of off looking. Proportion wise, the ear is nearly always in the middle of the head (I'm speaking from a side view here), and the top of ...
